Perspectives in the Arts and Humanities Asia, published by the Ateneo de Manila University, welcomes original manuscripts in the fields of literature, philosophy, theology, the fine arts, and related areas for its 2023 issues. Manuscripts of research articles (approx. 6000 words) and of research notes (approx. 4000 words) will undergo a double blind peer review.
Book reviews and reviews of exhibitions, music, and theater productions (up to 2000 words) are also welcome.
Manuscripts should have an Asian focus, although the subject need not be identifiably or exclusively Asian (e.g., Shakespeare in India). Comparative studies (Asia versus non-Asia) are also welcome.
All manuscripts must be in English or in English translation, The journal follows the footnote-bibliography system of the Chicago Manual of Style.
