Abstract

The artist duo was recently hosted by Project Space Pilipinas (PSP), an artist-initiated space in Lucban, Quezon, managed by contemporary artist Leslie de Chavez, as part of its continued 102 Feature: Signals in the Sky commitment to promote contemporary art in the rural, cultural and religious environment of the town. The performance was entitled Signals in the Sky on June 23, 2018, Saturday, 5:00 PM, at PSP in Lucban. It is the second in the trilogy of MFC’s performances that was set in the Philippines after their participation in the 57th Venice Biennial in 2017. The other two were held at the Ateneo Art Gallery, Arts Wing, Areté: Infinity 0: A Bacchanalian Immersion, held on March 23, 2018, at the Curve Gallery, 3/F Lobby and Blue Horizons: Dedicated to Derek Jarman and Keith Collins, held on July 14 2018 at the Zuthira B. Zalamea Lobby.
